Founded in 1856, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) brings together all of its banking business lines under one umbrella to offer innovative solutions tailored to the requirements of a very diverse client base.
For over 160 years, BIL has actively supported the Luxembourg economy at all levels. It also invests in the country’s social and cultural development.

Robust shareholder structure

The government of Luxembourg is a 10% shareholder. The country is one of only two euro-zone countries rated AAA by S&P, Fitch and Moody’s.
Legend Holdings, an industrial operations and investments group that is headquartered in Beijing, China, and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, owns 90% of BIL.
